Pamela Anderson has spent the last couple of years surprising and delighting us with a gorgeous new chapter in her beauty life. After decades being known as a blonde bombshell with anything-but-subtle makeup, she pivoted to a totally fresh-faced signature look, and she even spent the last few months in a short, coppery-red shag hairstyle that no one saw coming. But as much as Anderson's enjoyed playing with her look, it seems she still feels called to being a blonde.
Anderson attended the WWD Style Awards in Santa Monica on Friday night, leaving no one wondering why she'd receive the beauty icon award. Seeing her arrive was like traveling back in time, with the acclaimed actor hitting the carpet in a new yet not-so-new, almost platinum hair color by John Nollet, who also styled it in voluminous, Marilyn Monroe-esque curls blown up and off her face.

We got to see even more of the rebooted blonde at the Golden Globes on Sunday, when Anderson turned to Nollet for an entirely different yet equally glamorous style.

“For the Golden Globes, my inspiration came from the Golden Age of movies, ones that make me dream of a glamorous Hollywood—Fellini, Hitchcock, et cetera," says Nollet, who used Biolage Freeze Fix to keep the style in place all evening. “It’s always about how to make hair shine with a beautiful, healthy texture. For Pamela, I wanted to create an effortless French twist—a chignon for an iconic woman who inspires me.”

Anderson also shared why she opted for this look on one of Hollywood's biggest nights. “Cinema is my biggest influence. I’m always influenced by old movies, but this look is inspired by my mother in the garden. She always used to wear this messy bouffant with her gardening gloves and rolled-up jeans, and it was always so effortless and chic,” Anderson says. “This is a much more polished version, but the look is a modern bouffant, which I think is really fun.”

Anderson's barely there makeup allowed her skin to glow, and we know that's a look that won't change for her any time soon.
